It is important to understand a few things about keg beer and keg dispensing in order to fully enjoy the operation of this unit.

Beer should always be maintained at proper temperature, between 33 and 38 degrees   If the temperature is warmer or colder that this, you will experience poor flow, excess foaming, flat beer, and poor flavor. Warm beer above 38 degrees will start to create its own pressure resulting in excess foaming.  Keg, if transported, should be allowed to settle for at least 2 hours before tapping to minimize excess foaming.

TIP:  APPLYING A LITTLE VEGETABLE OIL TO THE BASE GASKET OF THE PUMP WILL MAKE TAPPING EASIER.
